New Hampshire Hall at UNH- Durham, NH

Space Planning, Renovation and ADA Upgrades

The renovation of UNH’s New Hampshire Hall, one of the oldest buildings on campus, was done to accommodate the consolidation of the Kinesiology department. The building is mostly used for classroom and office space, along with some larger spaces for athletic training, pedagogy, and two dance studios. The previously existing gym space was reduced to allow for two floors of classroom and lecture hall space on one side and a new climbing wall was introduced on the gym side. Although certification was not pursued, this project included several valuable LEED objectives.
